The Michael Schumacher Ferrari 412 T2 Test Fiorano 1995 Model in 1/43rd scale
Test Fiorano, Italy
Ferrari 412 T2
Formula 1 Season 1995/1996
The then newly crowned 2-time Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher moved from the Benetton Renault team to Scuderia Ferrari in November 1995. For the Ferrari team, which was reorganising itself after a 10-year unsuccessful dry spell, Schumacher's signing was a real stroke of luck.
But at the beginning, important test drives were on the agenda. So it came to Schumacher's first test cycle in the Ferrari 412 T2 in Fiorano, Italy, the Scuderia's own track. The test drives in November 1995 helped the team around Schumacher to a better understanding between driver and racing car, as well as performance on the track. The development even went so far that, for example, the track in Fiorano had to be modified after the test in order to meet the current requirements of Formula 1 circuits.
The changes paid off: at the first official tests for the 1996 Formula 1 season, Schumacher immediately set new records in the Ferrari - a first glimmer of the new glamour that Schumacher brought to the Scuderia and crowned with a total of five world championship titles.
The model has been produced in the usual high Ixo quality and reflects the original in the best possible way. The collector's item with inserted driver figure comes in an exclusive "World Champion" Collector Edition box in black.
