In 1995, Michael Schumacher had to defend his world championship title from the previous year. He started the season with his Benetton Renault B195 from the very beginning. With a total of nine Grand Prix victories and more than 30 points ahead of the runner-up Damon Hill, Schumacher was able to celebrate his second Formula 1 World Championship. In addition, the Benetton-Renault team became world champion in the constructors' championship for the first and only time.
